Life is complete only with its ups and downs. They come as challenges that balance our daily way of life. I meet these challenges with open understanding as they come along my way. A deeper understanding on the situation would help me arrive at a better plan of solving a problem. In cases where I cannot solve it by myself, I ask help from other people or seek advices from professionals, like doctors. Challenges in life are unavoidable and they trigger us to think positively and come out with wise decisions. And I always remember to pray for God’s guidance, protection and provision in meeting all kinds of challenges in my life.

Life is full of challenges and we have no choice but face them. Oftentimes challenges serve as motivations for me to do better. In some cases, I face challenges by looking back at my dreams that came true, how I managed them, and how I planned my actions to achieve better results in the past. Accepting challenges in life makes me stronger and wiser in making my decisions as I gain more self-confidence in doing things as they come my way.

As a pastoral volunteer, I do encounter challenges and difficulties along the way. Patience and understanding help in such situations. Not all our visits will be welcomed, as some people are afraid or suspicious of our motives. Sincerity in what we do helps us gain their trust. Time is also a big challenge as we do our voluntary work on our off days. A good time management helps us do as much as possible and have a fruitful day.

We will all encounter our own shares of challenges in life that we must overcome. We don’t know what it will be… but whatever it is, I will try to do my best to face it with my full strength, knowledge and understanding. I will seek some advice, read about similar situations experienced by others, analyse the problem and pray to God for guidance so that it is easier to pass through the challenges in my way.

I face and accept challenges that come my way for there is no way of avoiding them. They are part of this borrowed life on earth. As a mature person I try to handle every challenge according to urgency. I follow a plan for the day beginning with prayers. I pray to God for guidance and protection in facing the challenges of the day. I give myself a chance to think of what I am going to do and gather necessary materials. I look for practical solutions by myself first. Many times I seek help from family members, friends and other people who has more knowledge or experience about what I am struggling with.

While challenges in life may be huge and numerous, facing them honestly and bravely will help me find solutions. I am rewarded with spiritual growth as I put hope in God in overcoming challenges. I have learned to appreciate myself for the resilience and strength from the struggles. I become more grateful for the things I already have and the victories that I have accomplished.
