
Hong Kong (SE): St. Paul’s Convent School celebrated its 170th anniversary with a vibrant Family Fun Day on March 1 and 2. Over 13,000 visitors enjoyed a weekend filled with joy, warmth, and connection on the school’s campus. This special occasion brought together the Paulinian community, honoring the school’s rich history while creating cherished memories for generations to come.
The event kicked off with an inauguration ceremony led by Dr. Jeff Sze, JP, the undersecretary for Education. Students from the Secondary Section, Kindergarten, and Nursery took to the stage and presented captivating performances, including the Chinese Drum Stick Dance, Lion and Dragon Dance, Korean Dance, and a Career Walk.
These celebrated the school’s rich heritage and showcased the diverse talents of Paulinians, and creating a joyful atmosphere.
Outside, the playground was buzzed with excitement as more than 70 clubs and six houses set up interactive themed game booths, offering something for everyone.
Attractions such as the Drone Adventure, Remote Control Cars and Boats, Mechanical Horse Ride, and Jumping Castle transformed the grounds into a lively carnival filled with laughter and joy.




In addition to the challenging games, guests enjoyed snacks like popcorn and candy floss, along with fresh juices and coffeeThe Lucky Draw brought an extra spark to the day, with prizes such as ear pods and family tickets to Ocean Park.
Family Fun Day perfectly embraced the Education Bureau’s 4Rs Mental Health Charter—Rest, Relaxation, Relationship, and Resilience—providing a meaningful space for families to unwind, connect and thrive together.
The Family Talent Show and the Joint-school Variety Show further elevated the event, uniting families and friends from different schools to showcase their talents.
Audiences were treated to acapella, dance, band shows, and orchestral music, each act was a testament to the creativity and camaraderie of the Paulinian community.
As the event concluded, Family Fun Day stood as a heartfelt celebration of joy, fellowship, and flourishing futures.
Honouring the school’s 170-year legacy, it created enduring memories for families, embodying the true spirit of the SPCS motto: Omnia Omnibus—be all things to all people.
