As the fifth wave of the Covid-19 pandemic is under control, the church has resumed Sunday Mass services. I am thankful that I can serve again and share the Word of God through singing.
Before Mass resumed, I was assigned to prepare the necessary information about the new rules on what to do before entering the church. I also needed to prepare the songs we would sing during Mass service. I was busy but excited.
On the first Sunday, after Mass resumed, I was much busier, as I needed to attend several meetings and discuss matters with priests, co-leaders, and community members.
I am happy and grateful for some experiences and challenges we met during the pandemic. Now that we are back to regular Sundays and holidays, I consider the trials a gift of love from God.
I’m happy to sing again for the church and the Lord with my friends.
