How has your faith influenced you as you interract with others?

My faith has greatly influenced how I interact with others. When the Lord is at the centre of a relationship, there’s a shared goal of honouring him, which naturally brings people closer together. Because of that, I’ve become more open and built more meaningful friendships. As my faith deepens, I begin to understand God’s pure heart and character more. This inspires me to treat others with more love, patience, and kindness, just as he does.

John Michael Acosta

Faith can significantly shape one’s interactions with others by influencing how they view the world, act in everyday situations, and prioritize relationships. It can cultivate compassion, empathy, and a sense of shared humanity, leading to more positive and meaningful connections. Faith can also provide a framework for understanding and addressing conflict, promoting forgiveness and reconciliation.

Knowing God, our Saviour Jesus Christ, is the greatest gift from above. Through his teachings, miracles, and deeds, my faith has grown stronger day by day. That faith is my weapon to battle every struggle and challenge I face, and I also use it to communicate with my brothers and sisters in every aspect of life. It’s not easy, but I hold on to my faith knowing that every encounter I have is purposeful. My faith has also made me a better person.

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” —John 14:6

Living our faith is a testament to how its values embrace us in many ways. It shows how we treat not just ourselves, but also other people. I believe that truly lived faith is truthful. Truthfulness enhances trust and emotional connection with others. For me, faith keeps me grounded. It reminds me that I am not alone because I have connections that keep me on the right path. These connections influence my relationships with others because they encourage my fellow believers to keep moving forward and practice the same.

Nina Pastoral

I have had faith in God since childhood, and that faith inspires me to learn compassion, forgiveness, and empathy toward others. People became at ease approaching me and confiding in me. We talked about different issues, shared our problems, and strengthened our bond of friendship. By walking with faith, we not only please God, but also encourage others to do the same.

Lorenda G. Rafanan

My faith inspires me to be more compassionate and to see others with empathy and understanding. It also motivates me to dedicate myself more fully to service and to forge stronger community bonds. Interacting with others helps me see the world through a lens of love and compassion, fostering more meaningful and positive interactions.
