Permanent deacon returns to the Father

HONG KONG (SE): Deacon Joseph Yung Wai-chung passed away peacefully at Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday morning, June 28, at the age of 92, the Diocese of Hong Kong announced.

A Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 11, at 8.00pm at the Church of the Annunciation, Tsuen Wan, to be celebrated by Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Ha Chi-shing.

Cardinal Stephen Chow S.J. will preside at the Funeral Mass on Saturday July 12, at 10.00am at St. Margaret Mary’s Church, Happy Valley.

Burial will follow at St. Raphael’s Catholic Cemetery, Cheung Sha Wan, to be presided by Father Dominic Chan Chi-ming.

Albs and violet stoles will be provided for concelebrants. In lieu of flowers, please pray for the deceased
