I rely on his promises, such as in 2 Corinthians 5:7, which reminds us, “We walk by faith—it’s a walk step by step, always believing and holding hope that God will do what he said he’ll do.” For years, I have held on to this promise, trusting that if we do not quit and refuse to give up on the hopes and dreams he has placed in our hearts, we will eventually see our reward.

During my time in the Philippines, I joined the Soldiers of Christ Catholic Charismatic Healing Ministry, which allowed me to deepen my relationship with the Lord. I also hold a special devotion to our Blessed Mother Mary. After moving to Hong Kong, I became involved with the Legion of Mary, committing myself to serve her as a soldier. Additionally, I joined the Bible study organized by Chaplaincy of Filipino Migrants, which led me to participate in various apostolic works like prison and hospital visitations and supporting the Home for the Aged in Shamshuipo. Being part of a community of Christ’s followers, especially through the Crowd Contact outreach, has been a true blessing. In fulfilling my apostolate work, my prayer life has deepened, and I have learned to persevere, experiencing an inner joy that is beyond words.
