I surrender all my worries and anxieties to the Lord, as encouraged in Philippians 4:6-7, where we are reminded to replace anxiety with prayer and thanksgiving. “Do not be anxious about anything but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests.” This scripture serves as a comforting reminder for me to make prayer my first response whenever anxiety strikes.

To alleviate my anxiety, the first thing I do is pray to God. I pour out all my worries and fears concerning the current situations I face and the people involved. I often cry to him, as I believe that no one understands me better than our Lord. Even if he may not speak to me face-to-face, I feel in my heart that my burdens are lifted through our connection. Every morning, I listen to worship songs and read uplifting Bible verses that help elevate my mood. I hold on to the belief that my burdens are not permanent because I am with our Lord Jesus, who will never forsake me.

We must remain strong and remember that God is always with us, especially during difficult times. It helps to focus on the aspects of life that challenge negative thoughts. Engaging in physical activities like sports and yoga can promote well-being. Seeking guidance from God through prayer allows us to share our feelings with him. Additionally, connecting with supportive communities can encourage us, fostering a sense of belonging and reminding us of the beauty of positivity and love. Anxiety is something that cannot always be avoided. When I feel it creeping in, I turn to prayer or meditation for relief. I also find it helpful to share my concerns with a trusted friend or family member and seek their advice. However, I often prefer solitude; I ease the tension within me by relaxing and listening to soothing music.
