The first Christmas Midnight Mass celebrated by Pope Leo XIV

(VATICAN NEWS): Buonasera. Benvenuti tutti! Bienvenidos!  Welcome!

The Basilica of Saint Peter is a very large Basilica, it is very large, but unfortunately not large enough to receive all of you. I admire and respect you, and thank you for your courage and your willingness to be here this evening.

Thank you so much for being here tonight, even in this weather. We want to celebrate Christmas together. Jesus Christ, who was born for us, brings us peace and God’s love.

Warm greetings to all.  Follow the celebration on the large screens. May God protect you and bless all your families.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Christmas greetings to you all!
