Do you have an exercise goal?

As an overseas Filipino worker, my work can be very stressful. I keep myself healthy and fit by doing Zumba and walking. These exercises help me manage stress and maintain my energy levels. I also take vitamins to boost my immune system and help me stay strong and youthful. My health is important so I can provide for my children’s future. I believe that being healthy motivates me physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and my faith in God plays a significant role in this. My motto is “Health is wealth.”

To keep my body fit, I engage in regular exercise, focusing on simple movements to maintain my body’s elasticity. I do my best to avoid unhealthy foods, but I don’t take vitamins or supplements.

I always set exercise goals, especially concerning my health, like hula hooping. However, there are days when I feel lazy. I take vitamin C as a supplement and watch what I eat due to my high blood pressure and cholesterol levels. I occasionally use herbal supplements as well.

I don’t have a specific exercise plan but practice self-discipline regarding my diet. I maintain a balanced diet, drink plenty of water, and walk every morning while praying the rosary. This routine has replaced riding to the market. I find relaxation and meditation beneficial for my soul and aim for at least seven hours of sleep at night.

As we age, we become more aware of our health. I don’t often do heavy work, but I make it a point to exercise daily and stretch to keep fit. I avoid sweets and unhealthy foods, favouring vegetables, and I take some food supplements to maintain good health.

As we grow older, it’s crucial to care for ourselves. With our bones becoming more fragile and diseases being more common, I pay close attention to my daily diet. I try to have a balanced diet, exercise regularly, manage stress, and maintain health check-ups. I also take supplements as advised by my doctor. Both physical and spiritual health are vital to me, and I strive to keep them balanced.
