Vatican (Vatican News): Pope Francis presided over a moment of prayer on the sagrato of St Peter’s Basilica, the platform at the top of the steps immediately in front of the façade of the church at 6.00pm Rome time, on March 27 (1.00am, March 28 Hong Kong time).

The ceremony consisted of readings from the scriptures—the gospel of Mark 5:34-4—where Jesus calms the storm, prayers of supplication, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and concluded with Pope Francis giving the Urbi et Orbi blessing, with the possibility of gaining a plenary indulgence for all those who listen to it live through the various forms of communication.
