Following Christ is sometimes downright difficult. I was born in a family of believers and a member of the Apostleship of Prayer Group. Being prayerful and my care for everyone may bring hope to the lives of others, which can influence or set an example in following Christ. I can do it better by servig God in my small ways through my words in action and humility, by being obedient to God’s words and humble to accept my errors, as well as by extending a helping hand and kindness in any ways that can lift one’s spirit.

I believe that I am made in the image and likeness of God, created equal like everybody else, highly favoured, loved, and blessed.
To follow Christ is difficult, you have to sway away from temptations along your way, love with no boundaries, merciful toward others, and practice doing good works among my neighbours … which I have exercised little by little.
I may not be perfect but he is perfect. He does not fall short of mercy. I think that I am also capable of inspiring others to follow Christ. We just have to take a step leaning on our Lord as we go on in our lives.

Our way of life as a Christian must be a good example for others to follow Jesus Christ. I have learned to shape my life according to God’s Word with prayers and good deeds however little or simple they are. I always remember the Christian values of kindness, humility and forgiveness when I meet others. When I do things by heart I find joy and contentment. People around me can see how simple yet peaceful my life is so they come to talk to me about God, faith and life. I also realise that I can give more time to young people by motivitating them properly and making their day more fruitful. I think the memorisation of blbie verse and application are the ready keys to open doors of learning. With this concept we can evangelise any time and anywhere.

Honestly, I don’t think that my life is a good example for others to follow Christ. I can say that I am faithful and I believe in God. Yet, my actions don’t go with such claims. I continue to commit sins, although I am very much aware that I shouldn’t.

However, I won’t let this be the conclusion yet. Yes, my life now is not an example for others to follow Christ. But I am working on changing myself for the better. I am trying to live a life in Christ. I am aiming to realise such hope by molding myself to become someone who always leans towards love, kindness, and righteousness. I will fight to overcome temptation and sin.

There’s no need to show others how faithful we are in serving God. But our action has to come from our heart, which will show our faith without our notice. We know what’s right from wrong. We just need to do things we think that is right and people around us can respond in their own ways.

As a member of the Good Samaritan Prayer Group and the Christian community I serve God, worship God wholeheartedly and honestly by loving my neighbours and doing good to others. Action speaks louder than words so I try to reflect the character of Christ to my family and friends with my own
deeds.
