God sees through the Cross

God sees through the Cross

When in life we feel so down as it seems problems come after another. When we are not yet done with one, another may come leaving us so exhausted and helpless. We pray to God to help us get through of the many trials but it seems it was not heard. Instead it was answered the other way round giving us even bigger and a heavier one.

Our faith is somewhat tested and we are not sure if we can still handle mountains of problems. Somehow we begin to doubt. And when faith is shaken, our fears follow. And when we are troubled we can only do limited things. We get tired and exhausted as we over think on things that have not yet happened.

This fear is killing our joy and happiness as if we are being deprived from the happiness we deserve. When our plans and sacrifices did not prosper the way we want, all we do is sigh in frustration and disappointments, trying to exhale all the negative thoughts and feelings.

Sometimes we fail to recognise that God is present in every event of life. May it be rainy or bright days, in joys or in pains. God bears with us through the highs and lows of life. He knows every detail of us. He knows our strenghts and weaknesses. He will never give us a cross too big or too small for us to handle. God knows exactly what cross befits our shoulders to carry. For this we have no reason to compare our cross to other’s cross nor our blessing to others because God sees everything fairly and justly. God allows trials so we can always draw strength from him. He permits failure so for us to stay grounded giving us space to be better and wiser. God is bigger and wider than the universe and so is his love and mercy for us.

God uses my cross so I can always give life to my sharing. Maybe God sees me being effective that way. I trust God’s way of using my pains so I can touch or move the lives of others. I have been through a lot in life but God never leaves me nor abandons me when I need him the most. I can always stand to witness God’s faithfulness in my life. He never gets tired of loving me. When at my lowest he gives me strength to go on. When I am in doubt and questioning, God reminds me to trust his will and power. When i am in pain God shows what genuine love is.

I pray I may always obey God’s will rather than giving in to my selfish desires and all I need is God’s grace.
