What can I do to fulfill the mission of God?

We cannot give or share what we do not have, so for me, I first need to have a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus and grow in love, holiness and righteousness before I can fulfil the Mission of spreading the Good News of Salvation to others; by praying daily, reading the Scriptures and reflecting on God’s message for me and my family, prayer meetings, Masses, and pastoral formation activities.

I am retired and has been an active member of Missionary Families of Christ, a Catholic Charismatic Organisation. Right now I continue to glorify God through serving in St Jude English Choir.

As a domestic helper here in Hong Kong my mission is to ensure that my duties and responsibilities to my employer are performed well by the guidance of our almighty God. I can do everything with Jesus by believing and obeying his will. Another mission I have is to keep praying specially for those in need of prayers and do good all the time.

Although there are many ways, serving the Lord stands out as the best choice. We all have different purpose or mission in our lives but collectively, we are all his servants. Through serving the Lord and the Church, we could fully commit ourselves and yearn for eternal peace and love. –

I once was lost but now I’m found because God has called me according to his plan, not mine, and to fulfil the mission that Jesus entrusted, which is to share his love by evangelising to our brothers and sisters to bring them back to the Lord especially for those who are astray. I understand that in trying to fulfill our mission there will be pain and suffering.

To fulfill the mission that Jesus entrusted to me means having the courage to go out from my comfort zone and join the community in spreading the Good News to all, like street evangelisation, joint reach out, hospital and prison visitation and extending helping hands to different institutions who needs help and to set an example of living, sharing, praying, reflecting and studying the Holy Scripture.

I am just beyond grateful being surrounded by people with the same passion as mine. They made me realise that my God-given talents can be of use for Church services and for the Lord. By doing so it gives me the sense of purpose and fulfillment. I am able to give entertainment and joy to others specially in church events. I also help not only in singing but in other requests that I can be of help like in putting up decorations when there are events inside and outside church.
