My favourite among God’s creations

My favourite among God’s creations

On choosing a favourite creation of God, I would say I appreciate them all, the good and the bad. To choose one as my favourite, I choose my mother. She provides unconditional love, selflessness, and guidance. She is my strength and offers comfort in difficult times. My mother’s kindness and resilience inspire me to strive for improvement every day. Her unwavering support helps me navigate through life’s challenges, reminding me of the profound love God has for us all through our loved ones.

My favourite of God’s creations is nature. It has a unique way of helping me feel calm, especially when I’m grappling with my problems. Being surrounded by trees, fresh air, and quiet sights clears my mind and brings me peace. Nature reminds me to slow down and appreciate the simple things often overlooked. Every aspect of it shows beauty and balance that no human could ever replicate. I’m incredibly thankful for the way nature brings tranquility and solace into my life, allowing me to reconnect with myself and the world around me.

God created heaven and earth; he is the sole creator of everything. All his creations are perfect and crucial for all living creatures, particularly humans, whom he made in his own form. He intended for humans to be fruitful, to multiply, to care for the earth, and to rule over the animals and plants. That is why all things that God created are my favorites. We humans are the last of his creations, as we are special to him. The faithful who place their trust in Jesus Christ, repent from their sins, and are guided by the Spirit will inherit God’s kingdom, which speaks to the profound purpose of our existence.

If I had to pick, I’d say my favourite creation is the sky. There’s something inherently captivating about it—it’s always present, constantly changing, and yet feels limitless. A sunrise embodies hope, a sunset brings peace, and the stars at night remind us of our smallness yet our interconnectedness with everything around us. I cherish the sky because, no matter how chaotic or challenging your day has been, you can look up, breathe deeply, and feel grounded again. It serves as a reminder of the vastness of his creation and the beauty inherent in every moment.

Everything that God has created has its own specific purpose. He made heaven and earth, light and darkness, sky and sea, dry lands, plants and trees, the sun, moon, and stars, birds and fish, land animals, and humans in his image. God created us to enjoy fellowship with him and to exercise stewardship over his creations. We, as humans, are designed to love God and one another. Of all God’s creations, humanity is my favourite because, if we follow his commands, we can share eternity with him, reflecting his love and grace in our lives.

I have to say I love all the creations of God. I found this question quite challenging to answer because every creation—light and darkness, nature, animals, and humanity—holds equal significance and purpose. Each manifestation of creation reflects his immense love and intentionality. Following the seven days of creation from the Book of Genesis, we see how everything corresponds with one another, with people serving as stewards of his creation. God infused every aspect of creation with his sign of love and distinction, binding us together while making each of us unique with diverse personalities. For me, recognizing and appreciating all creation equally is a pathway to acknowledging the Lord’s grace and a means to balance our lives as we strive to bring him glory.
