The most significant challenge I am grappling with at the moment is my illness. There are certainly times when I feel uncomfortable and discouraged, but I have come to accept this condition as part of my life’s journey. I believe that God has given me this cross to bear for a reason, and I trust that strength is to be found within every struggle. Each day, I remind myself to take courage and continue moving forward, despite any pain or difficulties. Focusing on the small blessings in my life provides me with hope and comfort. This experience has taught me patience, faith, and gratitude for the simple gift of life. While I understand that life is often challenging and unfair, I cherish its precious moments and choose to keep fighting, holding on to hope.

Currently, the most significant challenge I face revolves around my son. As a teenager, he spends a lot of time with friends, playing games, and engaging on social media, sometimes to the extent that schoolwork takes a back seat. As a parent who is sometimes distant, I find that prayer is my first step before reaching out to him. I ask the Lord for the strength to manage my emotions, helping me to avoid nagging and instead communicate calmly. My focus is on explaining to him the importance of his education for a brighter future, sharing my efforts as I work hard in Hong Kong to support him. I consistently remind him of the need to pray. I firmly believe that with God’s guidance, even the seemingly impossible can be achieved.

I am currently facing the challenge of reconnecting with loved ones who were baptised, confirmed, and married in the Catholic Church, yet seem unaware of their commitments. I share my personal journey and how my faith supports me through life’s trials. I pray for them to find their way back to the church, approaching the topic with respect for their free will, allowing the Holy Spirit to lead them. I encourage them to read the Bible and the Catechism as ways to deepen their faith and cultivate a greater love for Jesus.

Everyone encounters various challenges in life, and it’s critical to find effective coping strategies. At this moment, my greatest struggle is managing anxiety, which affects my emotions and health. However, my faith serves as a beacon during these difficult times. I have learnt that each challenge strengthens me and draws me closer to the Lord. Trusting him wholeheartedly, I hold on to the comforting words of Matthew 11:28-30: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

One of the main challenges I’m currently facing is becoming a stable and successful engineer. The journey is filled with learning curves and uncertainties, but I am committed to overcoming these hurdles by continuously expanding my knowledge and skills. I understand that professional and personal development requires an ongoing effort to adapt and grow, and I wholeheartedly embrace this challenge. I make it a point to seek mentorship and practical experience, which allows me to build a solid foundation for my career. I believe that persistence and a willingness to learn will ultimately lead me to success.
