How do you see God’s help in small daily moments?

Being a single mom with three children, two in college, is hard as expenses increase and my salary runs out quickly. Sometimes I am left with nothing, but God has provided for me. At church, I can eat a free meal, and when there’s extra food, I can have it for dinner. I’m grateful for a place to sleep, a place to live, and the strength to keep going. Even in financial trouble, I can still smile and face my challenges because of God’s constant care.

Opening my eyes every morning is my first blessing. As I leave for work, I feel God’s care because I always return safely. I believe he guides my thoughts and decisions, and in every prayer, I trust him to take care of me and my family. I hold on to his word in Jeremiah 29:11—plans to prosper me, not to harm me, and to give me hope and a future. Every day I work with a lighter heart because I know God is with me.

God’s help in small daily moments is amazing. When I don’t have enough money to send to my family back home, I close my eyes and pray. I claim his promise in Matthew 28:20, “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Jesus promises his continual presence, offering peace and reassurance. I thank God for the wisdom and his daily presence that helps me find ways to provide and solve these difficult problems.

Recognising divine help in small moments often comes down to shifting our perspective and intentionally pausing to notice the everyday blessings around us.

I see God’s help daily because no blessing is small. Waking up, having food, learning new things, and spending time with loved ones are all important signs of God’s guidance. I also see his help through my daughter’s sacrifices, the strength he gives me to keep going, and the happiness I feel when serving as a choir member. Even simple moments mean a lot because they remind me that God never leaves my side.

As an OFW, it was very difficult to fight the heavy sadness and loss of family every day, especially when people came to me with serious problems. I always cried and didn’t know what to do. But when I accepted the Lord as my personal Savior, my life changed. Every day I feel his presence. When I wake up, I thank him for caring for my loved ones and ask him to lead my decisions. I continue to hold on to his word in Jeremiah 29:11, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
