People with no confidence tend to think they cannot succeed if they met a small failure or criticism. It is hard to ask them to try again.
On the other hand, it is easier for confident people to accept criticism or failure. They tend to have a more realistic view of the world, and understand that criticism is expected and mistakes are unpreventable sometimes. They may regard them as the steps to learn.
In fact, no one can succeed in one go. Real failure only happens when one gives up and have no plans to try harder.
Jeremiah 8:4 says, “When someone falls, do they not rise again?”
