Shaken but not forsaken

                                                     

In times of difficulties and pain
When you are down and heartbroken
Feeling worn carrying your burden
God is there to uphold and sustain

When you feel lost and all alone
Yearning for a bit of compassion
And you have nobody to count on
The Lord your God won’t abandon

If your strength and courage wane
Due to hard blows that you’ve taken
You may get bruised and beaten
But with God you will surely win

Even if your faith is being shaken
And at times you may have fallen
Doubts may assail, but it is certain
That you are loved, not forsaken.
