HONG KONG (SE): The congregation of the Sisters of the Precious Blood in Hong Kong recently convened its 26th general chapter, to run from July 30 to August 12. This gathering took place at their main house in Fanling. The theme of the chapter is: “To Renew Our Dedicated Life in the Light of ‘Pilgrims of Hope’ and to Bring Christ to Humanity.”
Prior to the gathering, there were two days of training sessions on July 28 and July 29, conducted by Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Ha Chi-shing and Jesuit Father Stephen Tong.

The cardinal highlighted the necessity of openness to new ideas for creativity and the courage needed to effect change. Ultimately, he underscored love as the cornerstone of hope, reminding everyone that “Hope does not disappoint.”
After the Mass, Cardinal Stephen supervised the election of new leaders for the congregation, with Father Khong advising.
