In the darkest hour of our lives,
We recall the sacrifice of our Lord.
In moments of regret and sadness,
we remember his words:
“Forgive them, Father, for they do not know what they do.”
Though hurting, we feel his love for us, the Holy One.
From his crown of thorns
To his nailing on the cross,
The memory of his sacrifice is never lost.
This Lenten season, we reflect on his great love,
A reason to amend our sins, sent from above.
Holy Father, forgive us our transgressions.
Though we stray, your love remains.
The pain we have caused, we deeply regret;
Dear God, your sacrifice we won’t forget.
The heavy cross you’ve borne on your shoulder,
The weight of our sins and burdens of each other.
When you fell, no one lifted you high,
Yet your mercy is ever present when we struggle to get by.
Dear God, let us honor you for all you have done.
Though the world fades, Lord, we trust in you alone.
Someday, we will return to dust;
In this Lenten season, to honor and glorify you is a must.
Abba Father, you dwell in our hearts always,
Your holiness we vow to remember all our days.
Without your mercy, we would live in fear;
In a world of conflict, you are always near.
Let us honor and love you every day,
Shine your light on our wayward paths, we pray.
To your Calvary, we hope to walk one day;
Lord God, to worship you is our destined way.
With all our hearts, we pray
To give honour, love, and respect to the Almighty.
Let us follow his holy way,
Confess our sins and seek forgiveness this Lenten Day.
