HONG KONG (SE): Father Pietro Galbiati, of the Pontifical Institute for Foreign Missions, passed away peacefully at 4:00am on May 31 at Canossa Hospital, the cathedral announced in a Facebook post on June 1.. He had served at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception for 17 years, from 1999-2016.
There will be a memorial Mass is scheduled for June 5 at 6.00pm to be celebrated by cathedral parish priest, Father Dominic Chan Chi-ming.
All are invited to attend to pray for Father Galbiati.
