HONG KONG (SE): Canossa Medical Centre opened its doors in Central on September 1, giving Canossa Hospital [Caritas] a new outpost from which to carry its long-standing mission of compassionate, high-quality care into the heart of the business district.
The centre is housed in China Building on Queen’s Road Central, putting general practice, specialist consultations, physiotherapy, nursing care and laser treatments within easy reach for people working or living nearby.
Father Joseph Yim Tak-lung, chief executive of Caritas-Hong Kong, and Father Dominique Mukonda Kananga, deputy chief executive, were among those who attended the opening ceremony, alongside Sister Virginia Wong Pui-ling, provincial superior of Hong Kong and Macau, and Sister Lucy Choy Chik-pui, nursing director of Canossa Hospital.
Medical practitioners from the new centre were also on hand to mark the occasion.
