Language of stillness

Language of stillness

The world is loud, a restless tide,
Where many voices seek to hide
The gentle rhythm of the soul,
The quiet parts that make us whole.

But in the hush, a secret grows,
A deeper truth that no one knows
Until the tongue decides to rest,
And gives the heart a silent test.

What lives within the quiet air?
A peace that’s found in simple prayer,
The strength to see, the power to feel,
The parts of us that are most real.

To speak is brave, to share is wise,
But silence clears the clouded eyes.
For words may build a sturdy wall,
But silence understands it all.

So let the echoes drift away,
And hear what shadows have to say
For in the stillness, calm and deep,
Are promises the spirit keeps.

Note: This poem of “Silence” I’m sharing represents a moment of self-reflection. It’s a beautiful way to encourage my friends and followers to take a breath and look inward.
